Is RxLog really free?
Yes. The free tier has no medication limit, no time limit, and core features (reminders, drug interactions, FDA recalls, pharmacy pickup, BP / glucose / symptom tracking) work forever without a subscription. Premium ($0.99/mo, $7.99/yr, or $19.99 lifetime) adds on-device encryption, biometric lock, doctor PDF export, and unlimited profiles.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. Encrypted at rest if you enable Premium. RxLog has no cloud account requirement and does not transmit your medication data anywhere. (An optional Google Drive backup feature is on the v1.3.1 roadmap — fully encrypted with your local key before upload, so even Google cannot read it.)
How does the multi-person pharmacy pickup work?
Add family profiles. When you pick up at the pharmacy, show the cashier a screen with the person's name + DOB + medications — no verbal disclosure of conditions in the open. Designed for caregivers managing prescriptions for parents, partners, or kids.
How does the drug interaction check work?
RxLog queries the National Library of Medicine's RxNav API every time you add a medication. The API is operated by the US federal government and is free. Results show direct interactions, severity levels, and clinical context.
What about Apple iOS?
RxLog is Android-only today. iOS launch is on the roadmap.
