AV Project Pro Privacy Policy

Overview

AV Project Pro is a jobsite documentation tool for AV installers — it holds your projects, cable pull lists, checklists, and photos, and turns them into a PDF. Everything happens on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud services for this app, the app requires no account or sign-in, and nothing you enter is transmitted to us.

Permissions

AV Project Pro requests internet access, camera access, and Google Play Billing. It requests no microphone, location, or contacts access.

Camera is used only when you choose to take a photo for a project. Android asks your permission the first time, and you can decline and still use every other part of the app.

When you attach an existing photo instead, the app opens the Android system photo picker. That picker hands back only the specific images you select — the app is never granted access to browse your photo library.

On iPhone and iPad it works the same way: iOS asks for camera access the first time you take a photo, and attaching an existing photo uses the iOS photo picker, which hands back only the images you select. The App Store takes the place of Google Play Billing there.

Data Stored on Device

This data never leaves your device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.

PDF Export and Sharing

Generating a PDF happens entirely on your device. When you share or save a PDF, you choose the destination through Android's own share sheet or folder picker. We do not upload, copy, or receive your exported documents.

Purchases

AV Project Pro offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade, processed entirely by Google Play Billing on Android and by the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad (under Apple's Privacy Policy). We never see or store your payment details. Restoring the upgrade checks your Google Play or App Store account. The only thing stored on your device is whether the upgrade has been unlocked.

Third-Party Services

The free version of AV Project Pro displays banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect and share your device's advertising ID for advertising and marketing purposes, as described in Google's privacy policy. Purchasing the Pro upgrade removes all ads.

This is the only data any third party receives. No project, cable, checklist, photo, or export-preset data is shared with anyone — none of it ever leaves your device.

Ads on iPhone and iPad. On iOS the ads are also served by Google AdMob, under Google's privacy policy. Before the first ad is requested, the app runs Google's consent step, which presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether the app may track you. If you do not allow tracking, or the prompt is not shown, iOS does not give the app or Google your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), and ads are not personalised using it. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
