LoanLens is a privacy-first loan and mortgage calculator. The loan figures you enter and save stay on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud services for this app.
We do not collect any personal data. LoanLens does not send your loan figures to us or to any other server. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. The app is ad-supported and the AdMob SDK performs ad tracking (see Third-Party Services).

These loan figures are the only financial information in the app. LoanLens does not ask for your name, bank, account or card numbers, Social Security number, or credit data, and it does not connect to any lender or financial account. It does not use your camera, photos, contacts or location. Reset All Data in Settings deletes the saved loans and settings.
On the amortization screen you can export a payment schedule as a PDF. The app builds the PDF on your device and opens your device's share sheet. The PDF contains that loan's amount, rate, term and payment schedule and goes only where you choose to send it (for example email, Messages, Files or a cloud drive); from then on that app's own privacy policy applies. A temporary copy of the PDF is written to the app's cache folder on your device.
LoanLens makes no network requests of its own. The only internet traffic is the Google AdMob SDK loading and reporting ads (see Third-Party Services) and, if you buy an upgrade, Google Play Billing (on iPhone and iPad, Apple's App Store). The loan figures it stores for you are not transmitted.
This app displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve ads, the AdMob SDK collects information from your device — typically your advertising identifier, device and app information, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and interactions with the ads shown. That data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy . We do not send your loan figures to AdMob or to any advertiser — the data this app stores for you stays on your device. You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Once the upgrade is active, the app does not request or show ads. Apart from Google AdMob and Google Play Billing (Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPad), no other third-party service, SDK or API is integrated.
Ads on iPhone and iPad. On iOS the ads are also served by Google AdMob, under Google's privacy policy. iOS gives an app your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you have allowed tracking for it; you can review that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
In-app purchases. Any purchase inside the app is handled by Google Play Billing on Android and by the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad. Google or Apple processes the payment and keeps the record (Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy); the app only learns whether the purchase is active. We never see your payment details. Restoring a purchase checks your Google Play or App Store account.
Your data is stored in your device's local storage, protected by your device's built-in security. On Android, if you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may include a copy of the app's saved loans and settings in your Google backup or in a device-to-device transfer; that copy is handled by Google and your device, not by us. Uninstalling the app will delete all stored data.
LoanLens is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
