Overview

FlipRoll is a privacy-first coin flip and dice rolling app. Your history and settings stay on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud services for this app.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. FlipRoll does not send your results or settings to us or to any other server. There are no accounts and no cloud sync. The app is ad-supported and the AdMob SDK performs ad tracking (see Third-Party Services).

Data Stored on Device

FlipRoll stores the following data locally on your device:

• History — Your recent coin flips, dice rolls and random numbers: the result and when it happened
• Coin stats — Lifetime heads and tails counts
• Custom dice and dice presets — The custom dice (name, minimum, maximum) and saved dice presets (label and notation) you create
• Settings — Theme, haptics, sound, and your default dice and dice count
• Pro unlock — A local record that the upgrade is active

FlipRoll does not use your camera, photos, microphone, contacts or location. Random results are generated on your device. The History screen has a Share button that sends your recent results as text through your device's share sheet; the text goes only where you choose to send it. Clear history on that screen deletes the list.

Network Communication

FlipRoll makes no network requests of its own. The only internet traffic is the Google AdMob SDK loading and reporting ads (see Third-Party Services) and, if you buy an upgrade, Google Play Billing (on iPhone and iPad, Apple's App Store). The data it stores for you is not transmitted.

Third-Party Services

This app displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve ads, the AdMob SDK collects information from your device — typically your advertising identifier, device and app information, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and interactions with the ads shown. That data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy . We do not send your history or settings to AdMob or to any advertiser — the data this app stores for you stays on your device. You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Once the upgrade is active, the app does not request or show ads. Apart from Google AdMob and Google Play Billing (Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPad), no other third-party service, SDK or API is integrated.

Ads on iPhone and iPad. On iOS the ads are also served by Google AdMob, under Google's privacy policy. iOS gives an app your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you have allowed tracking for it; you can review that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-app purchases. Any purchase inside the app is handled by Google Play Billing on Android and by the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad. Google or Apple processes the payment and keeps the record (Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy); the app only learns whether the purchase is active. We never see your payment details. Restoring a purchase checks your Google Play or App Store account.

Data Security

Your data is stored in your device's local storage, protected by your device's built-in security. On Android, if you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may include a copy of the app's data in your Google backup or in a device-to-device transfer; that copy is handled by Google and your device, not by us. Uninstalling the app will delete all stored data.

Children's Privacy

FlipRoll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
